Grid-Tie Systems generate clean energy from the sun, reducing your dependency on utilities. Grid-Tie Systems are quiet and operate automatically. The system "wakes up" and begins to deliver power as the sun rises and "goes to sleep" as the sun sets.
On-site installation can be completed within a few days. These systems can be installed by the do-it-yourselfer, however, the wiring connections should be installed by a qualified electrical or solar contractor. Some rebate programs require a Licensed Contractor to qualify for the rebate.
Because there are no moving parts, these systems are virtually maintenance free.

SOLAR KIT COMPONENTS:
SOLAR MODULES: The number of solar modules for each kit size are indicated in the table below. They are manufactured by Worldwide Energy and Manufacturing, Inc. and are Model#: Amerisolar AS-5M 180W monosilicon panels. They are available with a white or black backing. They have a 25 yr performance guarantee. These modules also have all the necessary certifications and are on the CSI list of approved panels for rebates.
The Solar Cells used in these modules are high efficiency solar cells which ensure high performance of the solar module and create maximum power output. Low-Iron Tempered Glass: High transmittance glass with an Anti-reflective coating. Dimensions: 32.5” x 62”.
INVERTER: SMA SunnyBoy Grid Tied Inverters are supplied with each kit. Provided at 240V (unless otherwise specified.) 10 year warranty. (PV Powered Inverters also supplied.)
RACKING: Unirac Rails are included with each kit along with end and mid clamps for the modules. Splices and Grounding WEEBs also supplied. All systems designed for a flush mount against the roof with 1”- 4” spacing between.
